Artist Statement

Artist’s statement:  Art is a way of expression, a way to say something without any words. Art is a part of my life daily but in other forms than just drawing I am a dancer which is an art form so I can appreciate all different aspects of the word art. Drawing is something I have grown to like and possibly love. I’ve only recently been reintroduced to art because of school.  I don’t think I’ll peruse a career in art but it will always be something I go back to.

Color Triad Painting

Color Triad- Colors that are evenly spaced around the color wheel

Compliment Painting

Compliment color scheme - Colors that are opposite to each other on the color wheel

Split- Compliment Painting

Split Compliment - It uses one colors compliment, and then uses the two colors adjacent to it.

Analogous Painting

Analogous paintings are the  colors to the right and left of a primary color.

Monochromatic Panting

Monochromatic paintings are simply a colors tents and shades. Tents adding white and shades adding black.

Warm/Cool Contrast

 Warm and cool colors are based off the primary colors and are the surrounding colors in that particular color family.
